What is Unite4Sally?

Unite4Sally is a fan-led initiative dedicated to one thing: honoring and supporting the true version of Sally Acorn — the one from the original SatAM TV show and the pre-reboot Archie Comics.

No redesigns. No reboot personalities. No alternate versions. Just the Sally that fans know and love — bold, smart, loyal, and essential to the Sonic universe.

SatAM Sally

The 1993 animated series "Sonic the Hedgehog" (commonly known as SatAM) introduced us to a serious, strategic, and deeply human side of the Sonic universe. Sally Acorn was the brains of the Freedom Fighters, a natural leader, and Sonic’s closest friend and partner. Her depiction here has remained iconic to this day.

Archie Comics (Pre-Reboot)

From the early 90s to 2013, the Archie Sonic comics expanded Sally’s world with depth, backstory, and long-term development. She was royalty, a rebel, a tactician — and most of all, someone who grew with readers. The reboot erased all of that, and Unite4Sally exists to keep her original form alive.

Why Bring Sally to the Games?

Sally’s character is rich with story potential and emotional depth. She’s been a part of Sonic’s legacy for over 30 years, and yet she remains absent from the games. That’s a loss not just for fans, but for the Sonic world itself. Her inclusion could bring strategy, leadership, and heart to the franchise’s core cast.
